Meet the Dentist
Dr. Christy Chen received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Biology from University of California, Berkeley and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Indiana University, School of Dentistry. After completing her doctorate, she worked in private practice and community health center before dedicating herself to opening Salisbury Dental as her own private practice.
Dr. Chen is associated with the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and West Central Dental Society.
If you ask Dr. Chen why she loves doing dentistry, she'll tell you, "Your beautiful smile is my reward!"
She wants her patients to be comfortable at Salisbury Dental, where Dr. Chen enjoys providing personalized preventative care, emergency dental services and restorative dental work, among many other services within her expertise.
Dr. Chen enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities with her husband and three boys. You can often find Dr. Chen on beautiful days working in her garden.
Karen enjoys helping and interacting with all our patients - ensuring all their dental needs are met while making sure they have a wonderful experience. Her favorite part of her job is her work family... Teamwork makes dream work! When not serving our patients, Karen loves spending quality time with her family and traveling.
Damayra completed her education as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) from the IU School of Dentistry. She takes pleasure in all aspects of the dental profession and has a passion for serving our patients. Damayra has a very bubbly, charismatic, positive personality and thrives by helping to create radiant smiles. Damayra is grateful for having quality time with her husband and child.
Jackie received her Dental Assistant Certificate from Ross Medical Education Center and strives to continue dental education. She is passionate in helping our patients by making sure they are provided the best care possible. Patients appreciate Jackie's gentle and compassionate chair-side manner. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Danette's many years of experience in the dental industry allows her to ensure that patients feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. Born in Lafayette and raised in Benton County, she and her husband have three children and two pets, Buddy the dog and Mila the cat.
